The Laboratory is divided into three sections: research and development, analysis/control of raw materials, intermediate products, finished products and a pilot plant section.

Research is the part of the chemical company that plans its “future”, the life of a company is linked to its investments in the chemical sector, the idea made executive on the production plant is that of a continuously evolving construction site focusing on the research & development section that allows us to remain on the market with optimization of existing technologies optimization of the quality of finished products and with the search for “new” products as an alternative to products already present on the market, products coming from renewable resources such as raw materials of plant origin.

The analysis/control laboratory is equipped with analytical instruments used for quality control of incoming raw materials, processing intermediates, finished products (gas chromatographs, HPLC liquid chromatographs, Karl Fischer coulometric titrators, potentiometric titrators, pH-meters, conductivity meters, optical ICP, colorimeter, fuel distiller and other specific instrumentation for the characterization of biodiesel, glycerin, epoxidized soybean oil).

The analysis laboratory has a process water (waste) section where, in addition to water analyses, tests are carried out to improve the purification efficiency of the TAS (plant water treatment) plant.

In the pilot plant section there is a resin chromatography plant, a silica chromatography plant, a molecular distiller, an electrodialysis and electrolysis plant, a Sulzer pack-packed distillation column, and an autoclave for high-pressure reactions.
